Born and educated in Norwich, Ian joined Sexty & Co in 1991 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1998. Ian has experience in providing services to many sectors, including owner managed businesses, charities and not-for-profit entities, solicitors and FSA regulated clients. His aim is to provide a high level of service across a range of audit, accountancy, taxation, business planning and advisory matters to help Sexty’s clients achieve their objectives.

Andrew was born and educated in Lowestoft, and after leaving university he worked in retail management before moving into the insurance/financial services sector. In 2004 he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and joined Sexty & Co in 2005. His experience ranges from large limited companies to sole traders and partnerships and his client portfolio covers many sectors including agriculture, retail, manufacturing, construction and entertainment. Away from work Andrew enjoys playing golf and football, and spending time with his family.

James joined the firm in 2016 to manage the tax department. An experienced tax practitioner, he had sixteen years with HMRC where he worked in various compliance roles including six years as a team manager followed by four years as a technical inspector in HMRC’s Business Tax Team. James has completed examinations on the TPDP Tax Professional Development Programme and obtained the Association of Tax Practitioners qualification.
James has a good knowledge of all heads of tax, with a particular interest in personal planning and capital tax compliance for Private Clients, Owner Managers as well as Tax investigations.
As the firms’ Tax Partner, James deals with tax queries that arise within the firm as well as providing bespoke advice for the established client base.

David joined Sexty & Co in 1998 as the Manager of the North Walsham office and was invited to join the partnership in 2000. He has worked in the profession for many years and moved to Norfolk in 1982 having trained and qualified with a national firm in Wales. David’s principal interest outside work is sailing on the Broads but also enjoys walking, music and gardening.
